Cool but not durableMar 30, 2010 The figure didn't exactly come in the most well padded box but it survived the trip well.
Once open it was amazingly stiff. Slowly one by one it started to move quite gracefully. The head was the last joint to be broken free but, it fell off a table at about 3 ft and the head broke off.
While together, it was enjoyable to place him in kookie positions with his sward and he made a good team mate. Just like humpty dumpty, he had a great fall; RIP soldier.

Delicate but funJan 28, 2010 The biggest problem is that some joints can be very stiff. The shoulders were by far the stiffest, and I had to twist VERY hard to get them to budge. Deltoid (shoulder) armor will fall off when doing this, but since they're meant to be removable it's really no big deal.
For more delicate points of articulation (e.g. the wrists), if they don't budge twist very slowly. This is one action figure that requires you to be gentle. Ankles aren't properly articulated, which limits the poseability.
Overall, I would say that the quality of McFarlane Halo figures dropped in quality for series 6, and so this gets 4 stars instead of 5.

Very nice!Dec 05, 2009 Awesome addition to my Halo 3 collection! You have to see it to appreciate the detail, and coolness of this figure, and others by McFarlane for the
Halo 3 line. Also check out the upcoming waves!!!
5 stars!

Very GoodDec 03, 2009 The Figure is a very good depiction of the real thing found in the game, well done.

Cheaply made heart-breakerOct 23, 2009 In the house less than 12 hours with a 6 1/2 year old who is not particularly hard on toys and the midsection broke apart. Investigation reveals how just cheaply made, fragile, and poorly bonded this section is. Oh, sure, dad can "fix it," which I will...but why should I have to?
Furthermore, compared to the lamest Bionicle, these figures are just gray blobs of unimaginative nothing. There is nothing distinguishing, innovative, or even mildly inspiring in the design.
Bottom line: save yourself the bucks and your child the heartbreak of this deeply flawed series of trash toys.
