Cheap made..?Jan 27, 2010 I got this for my 12 years old son for Christmas. As soon as he opened the package and put a gun in the right hand, the thumb came off. He didn't yank or put extra force to put the gun in the hand or anything, just came off. So we sent it back, and thank you for the Amazon's quick refund system, we've got a new one soon. But the second one is not so as good as we expected. My son said that the right hand fingers were now so tight and it's difficult to attach the gun, the grenade doesn't go deep enough in the right leg ( it's sticking out. His other soldier Hayabusa has a grenade but it doesn't stick out ),the one of shoulder pad doesn't stay attached and it doesn't stand firmly.
I was thinking to send it back again but it's too much trouble to pack it up and pay another $1 fee for UPS pick-up ( yes, the return package didn't fit in the pick-up box, so I have to bring in our town's UPS pick-up store and they charged me $1), and there is no guarantee to get a decent one. Maybe this Eva Armer is all cheap made or something or we are just unlucky to get defective ones twice. So I don't recommend anybody to get one.
No Assualt rifle? Sad Face =(Aug 29, 2009 It's actually pretty good. It came before the estimated delivery date, which is good. After reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to try it out. At first, when I took it out. I was nervous. After a couple seconds of GENTLY turning the joints, they loosened a bit. The Beam Rifle is really cool. It's really detailed, but the crystalline rounds that power the rifle kinda get in the way when you try and put it on his back. he comes with a grenade and 2 pegs. The armor is kinda stiff when trying to pull it out at first. But they can get a tad loose. Which put at the point in which I super glued the shoulders in. on his trigger finger, the index finger is pointed out, like he's ready to shoot. But it can make weapon a bit floppy. Otherwise, great detail, great figure, I would recommend this figure to any collector. 5/5 figure.
ReviewJul 28, 2009 Well I have to say I was very satisfied with this figure. I was a little worried that I would he would break as soon as I took him out of the packaging becuse of all the review that call it a Brocken figure. But mine was just fine, there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. Although I was expectin him to come with an assault rifle and a plasma pistol. Nevertheless he is a great figure, and looks great if you pose him properly. A warning though, if you are going to buy this figure you should be careful, because judging from the other reviews, a majority of these figures are deffected in one way or another.
It's great but has problems. D=Jun 23, 2009 This figure is cool but I kept on putting the Beam Rifle upside down like how I put my Scout shoulder armor piece up-side down too. His shoulder pieces come off easily so if you wanna buy a spartan with EVA armor be sure it's not the color of white like this one is.

Broken figureFeb 04, 2009 The product did not arrive in the specified time that it was suppossed to; and when it did finally come, it had a broken thumb on the right hand. Then, to top it off, I sent an e-mail concerning this to the seller and never got a response. I don't think I will be ordering anything else from this company. I was very disappointed and so was my son...it was a birthday gift for him.
